The Lotto Explained
The Lottery act has very strict rules on how a lottery is
run. These include:
- 45% of the total income is the maximum that can be used
as prizes.
- 35% of the total income is the maximum that can be used
on expenses.
- 20% of the total income is the minimum that must be given
to the cause the lottery is using money for, in this case
the CUFC development association.
The
Blues Lotto will cover the whole of Cumbria and South Scotland.
Agents can have any size of area they want. They will get
15% of what they collect. If they take on an area away from
where they live they will be paid a mileage allowance.

There will be a daily draw from Monday - Friday and winners
will be announced in the Evening News and Star, and on the
Official
website. There will be a list of all five winners in the
Cumberland News at the end of the week.
There will be a Super Draw at the end of week 52 and the
prize will be £10,000. The agent who sells the winning
ticket will receive a bonus of £500.
